Apoorva Mukhija Finally Breaks Silence On Rida Tharana And Black Magic Allegations, Says ‘I Wanted To Share…’

Influencer Apoorva Mukhija has come forward in support of her friend Rida Tharana following online backlash.

Influencer Apoorva Mukhija has come to the defense of her friend Rida Tharana after the latter faced backlash on social media. The backlash occurred when Apoorva posted a video to comment on the India’s Got Latent controversy, during which she name-checked a friend that she supposedly practiced black magic on. While no names were dropped, netizens were quick to speculate that she was speaking of Rida, after which there was a barrage of negative comments.

“This Is The Last Thing That I Wanted”: Apoorva

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Apoorva wrote, “After my video, there have been a lot of assumptions and a lot of hate going around and as much as I appreciate you guys having my back. This is the last thing that I wanted. I wanted to share my story and my feelings – nothing more. So let’s please not jump to conclusions or spread negativity.” The declaration was made as a bid to explain her motives behind the video, which was meant to convey a personal experience and not aimed at anyone in specific.

Apoorva further strengthened her connection with Rida and ended all the rumours by posting a picture with Rida where the two were seen hugging each other. The warm and loving picture was simply captioned, “Only love for @rida.tharana ❤️.”

Apoorva Issues Heartfelt Apology

Earlier in her comeback video, Apoorva offered an emotional apology Irrespective of my intention, I’ve hurt a lot of people, and that’s honestly the last thing I ever wanted to do. I genuinely create content to entertain people and make them laugh. I never intended to hurt anybody, and I’m truly, truly sorry. I should have been more mindful of my words, but I’ve learnt my lesson and I promise I’ll do better moving forward. I just hope you all can forgive me, and I’m very sorry if I hurt your sentiments.”
