Good news for all Anupamaa fans. The TV soap’s storyline continues to evolve with every episode, centering around the renewed tension brewing between the Shah and Kapadiya families. In the upcoming segment, Anuj advises Anu to maintain some distance from the Shah family members.
In the show’s preview, viewers catch a glimpse of Kinjal returning to the Shah household. Yes, you read it right. Kinjal is coming back on the show. Kinjal and Toshu were depicted residing overseas with Pari. Actress Nidhi Shah, portraying the character of Kinjal, previously shared insights into her departure from the series.
While interacting with Pinkvilla, Nidhi Shah explained her re-entry into Anupamaa as a narrative necessity, saying, “With the show taking a leap, the storyline needed development. We had to establish some background for the leap. Rajan sir wanted my return to evoke curiosity among the audience regarding Kinjal, Toshu, and Pari”, as cited by the report.
Elaborating further, she mentioned, “There are numerous twists unfolding in the storyline, and for that, my comeback was necessary. Sir had always mentioned that my character would reappear, but I didn’t anticipate it happening this soon.”
Expressing her delight at rejoining the Anupamaa team, Nidhi added, “I’m thrilled to reconnect with my friends from the cast and crew. Kinjal holds a special place in my heart. Although I was part of the leap, I didn’t expect to return so early.”
In the earlier plotline, Kinjal and Toshu departed from the Shah household, relocating overseas with Pari. Reflecting on this, Nidhi Shah affirmed her character’s exit from the series.
“I believe it was the right moment for me to depart from the show. There wasn’t much left to explore, and it’s always better to conclude a character gracefully without stretching it unnecessarily. Kinjal’s journey in the show had a satisfying trajectory. I had the opportunity to explore various tracks and emotions,” she concluded.
Anupamaa features Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey, Gaurav Khanna, Muskan Bamne, and others in prominent roles.
