New Delhi: Bollywood veteran Anupam Kher today (August 26, 2022) marks the 37th wedding anniversary with wife-actor Kirron Kher. On this occasion, he shared an unseen photo from his wedding album.
In the photo, Kirron donned a golden saree and heavy jewellery, meanwhile, Anupam opted for a dhoti and a garland around his neck.

In a caption for his wife, he wrote, “Happy anniversary dearest #Kirron. Dug out this pic of our wedding 37years ago from the Treasure Trunk of my father during my recent visit to Shimla! Anupam’s co-star from his upcoming film ‘The Signature’, Mahima Chaudhry wished them, “Wishing you both a very happy anniversary and a great journey ahead. You both still look the same.” Veteran actor Neena Gupta also wished the couple, a “Happy anniversary.”
The couple’s fans also wished them in the comments section. A fan wrote, “ Wow super cool have a nice day wishing you happy anniversary sir congratulations.” Many wrote “happy anniversary” in the comments section.

Anupam Kher and Kirron Kher were friends during their theatre days in Chandigarh. Later, in 1985 they got married. Kirron was earlier married to Gautam Berry and they had a son, Sikandar Kher, in 1981.
Earlier in an interview with First Post, Kirron talked about their friendship and said, “We both were in theatre in Chandigarh, and we were the best of friends. There was nothing he did not know about me, and I knew everything about him, up to the extent of knowing which girl he was planning to patao (woo). It was fun and we worked together well too. But there was no attraction of any kind beyond friendship.”
