Ankit Gupta and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, who are lovingly called ‘Priyankit’ by their fans, have been caught in breakup rumours. The two were rumoured to be dating but never confirmed or denied their relationship. After the breakup rumours, Ankit also exited from his upcoming show ‘Terre Ho Jaayein Hum’ with Priyanka.
As per the recent reports, Barun Sobti is being considered the lead role for ‘Terre Ho Jaayein Hum’. These reports are confirmed yet. For the unversed, Barun is well known for his role in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? in which he played the role of Arnav Singh Raizada and was seen opposite Sanaya Irani.
Meanwhile, confirming his exit from the show, Ankit told Bollywood Bubble, “I backed out of the project with Ravi-Sargun. I don’t think that I would be able to do something for that project right now. And maybe I need some time for myself to rejuvenate and recharge myself.” Earlier, when he was asked about his breakup, he simply told India Forum, “Not commenting on that.”
Priyanka Chahar Choudhary is yet to react to these break up rumours.
The reports about Priyanka and Ankit’s breakup surfaced after journalist Vickey Lalwani’s post. He claimed that they decided to part ways after they did not to get married. The post added, “The Udaariyaan serial couple was passionately in love, and there were even plans to tie the knot. But as things started to go downhill, they refrained from getting married and took their time to decide whether they really wanted to spend their lives together. The final decision was, ‘No, we will be better off without each other.’”
Priyanka and Ankit first met on the sets of their show ‘Udaariyaan’ in which they were paired opposite each other. They later participated in ‘Bigg Boss 16’. They also worked in several music videos together.
