Demon Slayer Infinity Castle collected around 4.00 Cr India net on its fifth day for all languages, according to Sacnilk's early estimates.

Demon Slayer Infinity Castle box office collection India day 5: The Japanese anime Demon Slayer Infinity Castle, released on September 12, has shattered records at the Indian box office, earning a whopping Rs 47.70 crore net in five days. This makes it the highest-grossing non-Hollywood foreign film ever released in the country.

On its opening Friday, the film earned Rs 12.85 crore, rising to Rs 13.1 crore on Saturday and peaking at Rs 13.85 crore on Sunday. But Monday saw a steep 75 per cent drop, with collections falling to Rs 3.5 crore. According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the Hindi version raked in Rs 9.5 crore, while the English version collected Rs 8.65 crore in the first five days.

According to Sacnilk’s early estimates, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle collected around 4.00 Cr India net on its fifth day for all languages.

In just three days, Demon Slayer Infinity Castle has outdone the lifetime India collections of earlier anime hits like Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and Suzume. Around the world, it has become the highest-grossing Japanese film in local currency, raking in over 69 billion yen and beating the previous record set by Demon Slayer: Mugen Train (54.5 billion yen).

Demon Slayer Infinity Castle: Plot

The Indian version of the movie has no cuts and has received a certificate of U/A 13+. This means that it is suitable for people above the age of 13.

The plot of the Infinity Castle Arc is set at the end of the Hashira Training Arc, which introduced different Hashiras and their powers in different episodes. Tanjiro trained with Tengen Uzui- the Sound Hashira, Muichiro Tokito- the Mist Hashira, Obanai Iguro- the Serpent Hashira, Obanai Iguro- the Serpent Hashira and Obanai Iguro- the Serpent Hashira to gain new strength for his upcoming battles.

The viewers also get to know more about Kagaya Ubuyashiki, who is the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps. Unfortunately, Muzan, who also traps Tanjiro and everyone in the Infinity Castle, kills Kagaya and his wife. This sets up the plot for the upcoming movie ‘Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Arc’.
