Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal may soon enter the Rs 500 crore box club as the movie earned Rs 481 crore on Wednesday, as informed by the T-series from his official account on Instagram. The T-series mentioned in the post that “he is the box office animal.”
Recently, two early morning shows of the Animal movie were added to a cinema hall in Mumbai after the organizers observed extreme footfall.
According to a media report in Mumbai’s Maxus Cinemas, 1 am, 2 am and 5:30 am shows have been added. In Goregaon’s PVR Oberoi Mall and Andheri’s PVR Citi Mall, 12:30 am and 1:05 am shows have been added respectively. Cinepolis in Bhandup’s Magnet Mall has added a 1:15 am show.
Animal earned Rs 61 crore on its opening day across all languages in India. While it collected Rs 50.50 crore in Hindi belts, the Telugu version of the film also earned Rs 10 crore.
It was also reported that Animal has crossed $1 million in North America. However, the majority of people showed anger against Ranbir Kapoor on social media over a ‘pad’ dialogue during a scene in the movie. In the Instagram post, the T-series mentioned “smashes box office records 5-day worldwide collected 481 crore.”
