New Delhi: Hollywood Angelina Jolie was seen arriving at the Pakistani airport as a U.N. humanitarian provide assistance and support to those in need. A video showed Jolie arriving at an airport in Karachi, where floods since mid-June are believed to have killed close to 692 people and left many others homeless.

The Eternals star, who has served as the Special Envoy to the United Nations for Refugees since 2011, is seen meeting the victims in pictures and videos that have been circulating on social media. According to reports, the actress also travelled to Dadu, one of the worst-affected districts where waterborne illnesses have claimed close to 300 lives since July. The actress has received accolades for her tireless humanitarian work.
According to the Express Tribune, the `Salt` actor landed in Dadu, Pakistan, and will hear from people affected directly about their needs and about steps to prevent such suffering in the future.

Heavy rains and floods across the country have impacted 33 million people and submerged one-third of the country under water.
