New Delhi: The makers of Ayushmann Khurana starrer ‘An Action Hero’ have unveiled its trailer on November 11. The action drama also stars Jaideep Ahlawat in prominent role. Directed by Anirudh Iyer, An Action Hero will see Ayushmann Khurana in a never-seen-before avatar.
Speaking about the trailer, it looked fun, entertaining and full of actions and drama. Ayushmann as an action hero looked promising. On the other hand, Jaideep Ahlawat was on fire with his villainous role. The movie portrays Ayushmann Khurana as a movie star, caught in a real-life drama.

Sharing the trailer on his Instagram handle, the Andhadhun actor wrote, “CUTTING STRAIGHT TO THE CHASE! #AnActionHero Trailer Out Now! 💥Catch this Thriller with a twist only in cinemas on 2nd DECEMBER 2022!”
The trailer how Bollywood stars often find themselves at the receiving end of public wrath. Other than Ayushmann risking his life to save himself from public scrutiny, also finds his films facing a boycott trend with people burning his posters and protesting against his movies.
On the whole, the icing on the cake was Malaika Arora’s dance number-the glimpse of it in the trailer was enough to move the fans.
An Action Hero is bankrolled by Aanand L Rai and is slated to hit the theatres on December 2.
Meanwhile, Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Dream Girl 2 was all set to hit the theatres on June 23, 2023. The film will also star Ananya Panday in the lead role. Ayushmann Khurrana will reprise as Pooja and the effervescent Ananya Panday will play his lady love.
