New Delhi: Amitabh Bachchan’s Uunchai is all set to release in theatres on November 11. The film also features Anupam Kher, Boman Irani and Danny Denzongpa, Neena Gupta, Sarika, Parineeti Chopra, ansd Nafisa Ali Sodhi.
Now in the recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 14, his Uunchai co-stars Anupam Kher, Boman Irani and Neena Gupta graced the show. During the episode Amitabh Bachchan urged the viewers to buy the tickets and watch the movie in theatres.
Big B said, “Theatre jaakar, ticket khareed kar picture dekhne ka jo maza hai vo kuchh aur hi hota hai. Kripya karke jaiyega theatre mein humari tasveere dekhne, aajkal badi maramari chal rahi hai, koi jaa hi nahi raha hai theatre mein. Haath jodte hain hum aapke, ticket lekar jaiyega (there is a different joy in going to the theatre and watching a movie after buying a ticket. The situation is very tough these days, no one is going to the theatre. I join my hands and request you to buy tickets and watch our movie in theatres).”
The makers of Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, and Boman Irani starrer Uunchai have released its trailer on October 18.
The trailer begins with a true bond of friendship between Amitabh, Anupam Kher, Boman and Danny. Danny’s life long urge to embark on the Mount Everest surrounds the story of Uunchai. The four friends, planning to go on a trekking to the Everest always gets postponed. The trailer soon shifts to a tragedy, when Danny’s character dies and the remaining three friends set on a journey to fulfill Danny’s desire.
Directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya, will release November 11. To note, Uunchai will release in the diamond jubilee year of the iconic production house.
