Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan, predominantly based in Mumbai, is reportedly planning to relocate to Chennai for an extended two-month period. This decision is primarily motivated by personal reasons rather than professional obligations.
As per the reports, the actor’s mother is currently under medical care at a private facility in Chennai due to an illness. Given Aamir’s close bond with his mother, he intends to move to Chennai to be by her side during this critical time.
The report also mentions Aamir’s plans to stay at a hotel in close proximity to his mother’s treatment centre, ensuring he can be readily available whenever needed.
After the underwhelming performance of his last film, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha,’ at the box office, Aamir publicly announced his intention to take a break from acting and focus more on film production. He expressed a desire to allocate more time to his family and be present with them.
Recently, Aamir revealed his upcoming production, ‘Lahore, 1947,’ which will be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and feature Sunny Deol in the lead role. Additionally, he will produce the official Hindi remake of the Spanish film ‘Campeones.’
Aamir Khan has also announced his next project during an interview with News18. He shared, “I have not spoken about it publicly, the film’s title is ‘Sitare Zameen Par.’ You must remember my film ‘Taare Zameen Par,’ and this film’s name is ‘Sitare Zameen Par’ because we are advancing ten steps further with the same theme. ‘
Furthermore, Aamir is set to reunite with Rajkumar Santoshi for an untitled project, although specific details about this collaboration have yet to be disclosed.
