New Delhi: A day after a photo of BTS member V and BLACKPINK’s Jennie surfaced online, reigniting dating rumours, YG Entertainment issued a statement. Jennie is standing near a wall in the photo, taking a mirror selfie. V, on the other hand, sat on a chair getting his hair and makeup done.

V, aka Kim Taehyung, was photographed wearing the same outfit he wore while visiting Paris in June. In the photo, Jennie was dressed in a blue sweater and black pants. Fans of both BTS and BLACKPINK shared the photo widely online. A fan inquired, “#BLACKPINK’s #JENNIE hangs out backstage with #BTS’s #TAEHYUNG. Are they simply friends? Or even more?”

Now, Soompi quoted a source of YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK’s agency, as saying, “BLACKPINK will depart the country on August 25, and they will be busy taking on a tight schedule in the United States including the MTV Video Music Awards performance as well as promotional activities for their second full-length album.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Taheyung was recently seen in the In The Soop spin-off In The Soop: Friendcation, alongside his Wooga Squad members Park Seo-joon, Park Hyung-sik, Choi Woo-shik, and Peakboy. He also appears in Run BTS special episodes alongside BTS members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, and Jungkook.
Jennie, on the other hand, is not only preparing for the release of BLACPINK’s new album, but she will also be seen in The Idol, an HBO show starring The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp.
