New Delhi: Ameesha Patel is capturing headlines ever since her video with Pakistani actor Imran Abbas went viral on social media. There has been a buzz that the duo is dating each other. Now the Kaho Na Pyar Hai actress opened up about the dating rumours between her and Imran. She called the rumours to be ‘silly’.
Chuckling at the rumour, Ameesha told a media portal that she had a huge laugh about them. She said, “I read them too, and had a huge laugh about it. The whole thing is just crazy and full of silliness. I was meeting my buddy after so many years. So, it was just a catch up.”
This rumour came after Imran Abbas shared a video on his Instagram, in which Ameesha and the actor went romantic on an old song of the former. Sharing the video, Abbas wrote, “Loved being “very filmy” with my friend @ameeshapatel9 on one of my favourite typical Bollywood tunes originally shot on her, sung by @therealalkayagnik and Udit Narayan. #bollywood.”
Ameesha met Imran in Bahrain during an event and the duo recorded a fun video on the song Dil Mein Dard Sa Jaga Hai from the 2002 movie Kranti.
She later posted the video on her Instagram, which led to the rumours. She further added, “He happens to love that song of mine. It’s his favourite song… We just did an impromptu thing, which was recorded by a friend. It came out so cute, so we posted it. It was not planned.”
On the work front, Ameesha Patel will soon be seen in Gadar 2 with Sunny Deol. Fans will be able to see Ameesha again in the role of Sakina.
On the other hand, Imran has worked in many Pakistani shows and movies. Emraan made his Bollywood debut with Vikram Bhatt’s movie Creature 3D. He was seen opposite Bipasha Basu in the movie. Emraan played a cameo role in the movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
