Allu Arjun has been in the controversy after a woman died during the screening of Pushpa 2 in the Sandhya theatre as the actor made a surprise visit. He was also arrested a few days ago in connection to this case but was released on an interim bail. It seems like Allu Arjun might land in legal trouble again as an alleged letter from the police to the Sandhya theatres has gone viral in which they asked the management not to invite the celebrities. The letter also mentioned that it would be not possible to control the crowd in the theatre.
According to reports, the management requested the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Chikkadpally, Hyderabad, to arrange arrange Police Bandobust for December 4 for the arrival of Allu Arjun and the team of ‘Pushpa 2’. Here is the alleged viral letter.
The letter has sparked mixed reaction among the netizens as they questioned its credibility. One Reddit user wrote, “Yeah a hand written letter with no date and time.” Another person wrote, “Do they have proof they sent it? I can write today and date it a month back. Aks no email or WhatsApp?”
About Pushpa 2 Stampede Case:
Allu Arjun visited the Sandhya theatre in Hyderabad during the screening of ‘Pushpa 2’. His visit in theatre create excitement among fans but also caused stampede. This led to a woman’s death and her son being seriously injured. Allu Arjun, on December 13, was arrested in connection to the woman’s death but was released on an interim bail.
According to a senior official of the Telangana Police’s prisons department, ‘Pushpa 2’ star spent the night ‘normally’ and took rice and vegetable curry for dinner. He told PTI, “He was quite normal and did not appear depressed. Normally, the dinner time is 5:30 pm. However, late admissions are also served food. He had rice and vegetable curry, and was treated as a special prisoner as ordered by the court.”
After getting released from jail, Allu Arjun addressed the media and expressed his regret on the tragic incident. He said, “We are extremely sorry for the family. I will personally be there to help them in whatever way possible. I was inside the theatre watching a movie with my family and the accident happened outside. It has no direct connection with me. It was purely accidental and unintentional… I have been going to the same theatre for the last 20 years, and I have been to the same place more than 30 times. There has never been an accident like this before. I should reserve my comments because I don’t want to say anything that will tamper the case…”
Allu Arjun earlier announced the donation of Rs 25 lakhs to the victim’s family.
