Actor Allu Arjun visited KIMS Hospital in Hyderabad’s Begumpet to meet Sri Teja, an eight-year-old boy seriously injured during the tragic stampede at Sandhya Theatre. The incident occurred at the premiere of Arjun’s film, Pushpa 2: The Rule. Arjun’s visit, initially planned for January 5, was postponed, and heightened security was arranged during his presence on Tuesday. Telangana State Film Development Corporation (FDC) Chairman Dil Raju accompanied him.

Social media platforms were abuzz with videos and pictures of Allu Arjun at the hospital. Wearing a green sweater and black pants, the actor was seen entering the premises along with his team. To maintain public order, the SHO of Ramgopalpet Police Station had earlier issued a notice advising the actor to keep his visit confidential.
Arjun had previously expressed deep concern for the boy, who has been under intensive medical care since the incident. Wishing him a speedy recovery, the actor had stated he was eager to meet the family but postponed his visit due to legal proceedings. Sri Teja’s father, Bhaskar, shared a hopeful update, revealing that the boy had shown positive signs of recovery after being unresponsive for 20 days.

Details Of The Sandhya Theatre Tragedy
The stampede at Sandhya Theatre on December 4, 2024, left one woman, Revathi, dead and her eight-year-old son, Sri Teja, critically injured. The chaos erupted as fans rushed to catch a glimpse of Arjun during the Pushpa 2 premiere.
Following the incident, a case was registered against Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management at the Chikkadpally Police Station. Charges were filed under several sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) based on a complaint by the deceased woman’s family. Arjun, listed as accused No. 11, was arrested on December 13 but secured interim bail the following day. Regular bail was granted by a city court on January 3, 2025.
Arjun’s visit and continued support, along with assistance from the Telangana government, have offered solace to the injured boy’s family. Bhaskar expressed gratitude, emphasizing the significance of the aid during these challenging times.
