Season 2 of Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein is back to entertain the fans after the wait of two years. The romantic-crime thriller started streaming on OTT platform Netflix from November 22 and is receiving rave reviews. Season 1 of the show was a bit hit owing to its intricate plot, complex characters, and shocking twists. Plot
The second season of the show picks up from where the first chapter ended. Jalaan, who has kidnapped Purva, now threatens her husband Vikrant (played by Tahir Raj Bhasin) to pay a heavy ransom, or else he will bring her back. Purva’s father Akhiraj arranges the money, but things go out of hand because of Vikrant’s true love, Shikha (Shweta Tripathi). During Shikha’s wedding, a mysterious incident changes everything and Vikrant, once again finds himself trapped.
Cast
Most of the actors from the previous season have reprised their role and the second instalment of the show features the very talented Tahir Raj Bhasin, who stole the show once again. Alongside him, there is Vikrant Chauhan, Shweta Tripathi, Shikha Agarwal, Anchal Singh, Purva Awasthi, Saurabh Shukla, Akhiraj Awasthi, Surya Sharma among many others. The casting agents of the show deserve applause for getting the perfect actors for the show.
New Addition
The cast is joined by popural face of television, Gurmeet Choudhary, who plays the role of Purva’s friend, Guru. He is on a mission to protect his friend and is aware of every little movement happening around. for the series, the actor shot a very difficult action scene, inspired from the film Mission Impossible.
Talking about it, Gurmeet told in an interview, “The first day when we shot the scene of me jumping off of a cliff, I was 500 feet in the air, held by a harness and had to jump off and land on my feet while holding two guns. It almost felt like my Mission Impossible moment. The stunt turned out well because I knew everyone was worried as there was no stunt double, it was just me and we had a long schedule of shoot left. But it went great and every body has been talking about that scene once they saw it in the trailer.”
