When “All of Us Are Dead” premiered on Netflix in 2022, it transcended the status of just another series, emerging as a global sensation. The Korean zombie thriller captivated audiences from the moment it debuted, swiftly ascending to become one of Netflix’s most-watched shows.
In a recent development, Season 2 has officially gone into production. Netflix made sure to announce the return in style. On July 23, the streaming giant dropped a BTS video from the cast’s script reading session, confirming that production is underway.

Cast
Returning as survivors of the original Hyosan outbreak are Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun, and Lomon. Joining them are fresh faces including Lee Min-Jae (Weak Hero: Class 2), Kim Si-Eun and Roh Jae-Won (Squid Game), and Yoon Ga-I (Undercover High School).
What’s In Store For Season 2?
According to Netflix, “All of Us Are Dead” season 2 is set sometime after the events of season 1. All eyes are on how Lee Cheong-san (Yoon Chan-young), Choi Nam-ra (Cho Yi-hyun), and Lee Su-hyeok (Lomon) are now navigating their lives years after the outbreak. Meanwhile, On-jo forms friendships with her university seniors Yong Ma-ru (Lee Min-jae), So Ju-ran (Kim Si-eun), and Lee Jong-a (Yoon Ga-i) — a group that has found ways to survive amidst the zombie apocalypse. Han Du-seok (Roh Jae-won) brings added tension to the story as a team leader within the National Intelligence Service.
Director Lee JQ (Daily Dose of Sunshine) returns to helm the series alongside Kim Nam-Su, with Chun Sung-Il (King the Land) penning the script once again.
