Bigg Boss 18 contestant Alice Kaushik broke down in tears as she shared her heartbreaking past and family history with fellow contestant Nyrraa Banerji inside the Bigg Boss house.
Alice revealed she was closer to her father, despite his violent nature. “My mom and dad never had a good equation. They would fight every single day. Their major fights were a regular occurrence. But I was a little closer to my dad because he understood my emotions,” she was seen telling Nyrraa.
When Nyrraa asked if her father was violent with her too, Alice nodded and shared, “Violence was in his nature. We grew up with it. For the longest time, this was normal for us.” Her parents’ failed relationship ended in separation.
During the conversation, Alice made another shocking revelation about her father’s death. “Two to three years after my mom and dad separated, she asked me to call my father. But a stranger picked up the call and informed me that he was no more; he had committed suicide.”
Alice initially refused to believe it and shouted at the person, who introduced himself as a police officer. He told Alice that they had to break the door to enter the house where they found that he had committed suicide. “Maine unhe bola ki ye jo aap kar rahe ho ye bahaut ganda mazaak hai’. But then the officer sent me a picture of my father via WhatsApp, an image that haunted me for four years. I was living my life, but I could never move on from that,” she shared.
The most disturbing part was when her father’s body was brought for cremation, a person handed over the rope he used to commit suicide and said, ‘This is what he used.’ “I don’t know why he did that; why he handed over that rope to me. Maybe he lacked feelings or emotions,” added Alice.
