‘Alice In Borderland Season 3’ has finally come to an end, concluding Arisu and Usagi’s journey in a strange world. The show’s ending has now become a topic of discussion for the viewers, with many appreciating the plot and others sharing their criticism. Many viewers noticed that the finale of ‘Alice In Borderland Season 3’ has some similarities to ‘Squid Game Season 3’.

‘Alice In Borderland Season 3’ had an open ending, leaving the possibilities for possible spin-offs and a new season. In the last episode, Arisu and Usagi play a new game alongside other people left in the borderland.
He decides to sacrifice himself to save others but is shocked to see Banda asking him to become a permanent citizen. Arisu rejects him and manages to escape, only to find Usagi and Ryji almost drowning. To his shock, the time suddenly stops, and the Watchman tells him that ‘Borderland’ is a place between life and death. The Watchman further reveals that the Borderland will soon be flooded with more people.
Arisu decides to choose life and saves Usagi, but Ryji is killed. They return to the real world and prepare to welcome their baby. The news also showcases earthquakes happening around the world. Meanwhile, the scene cuts to the US, where the viewers see a waitress with the name tag of ‘Alice’.
This ending is similar to ‘Squid Game Season 3’, where the viewers are introduced to a new recruiter (played by Hollywood star Cate Blanchett) in the US. Both ‘Alice in Borderland’ and ‘Squid Game’ have hinted at their possible spin-offs, set in the US and other parts of the world.
