New Delhi: Ranbir Kapoor, who turned 40 today, has received a special birthday wish from his wife Alia Bhatt. Taking to Instagram, Alia shared a picture from Ranbir’s midnight birthday celebrations and captioned it as, “happy 40 baby” followed by a heart emoji and an infinity sign. In the image, we can see Ranbir looking uber cool in a white t-shirt as he points towards a wall that read, “Cheers to forty years”. Check out the post below:

Ranbir Kapoor celebrated his birthday at midnight with an intimate bash attended by Neetu Kapoor, Ayan Mukerji, Aditya Roy Kapur, Alia’s sister Shaheen Bhatt and others.

Earlier in the day, Ranbir was also showered by a whole lot love by his mother Neetu Kapoor in an Instagram post. She wrote, “This has been quite a milestone year for You for US !!! Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot on April 14 this year after dating for five years. The couple are expecting their first child together.

On the film front, Alia and Ranbir recently starred in Brahmastra, their first project together. The first part of a planned trilogy, directed by Ayan Mukerji, emerged as a box office success, and continues to ring cash registers.
Up next, Alia has a number of projects in her kitty. She will be making her Hollywood debut with Heart of Stone, also starring Gal Gadot and Jamie Dorman. She will also be a part of Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa, along with Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif.
Ranbir Kapoor, on the other hand, will next be seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal with Rashmika Mandanna. He also has Laxman Utekar’s next with Shraddha Kapoor in his pipeline.
