New Delhi: The Pataudi begum Kareena Kapoor Khan celebrates her birthday today. The actress turns 42 on Wednesday. While most of her celeb friends have already wished Bebo, Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram story and wished her with a special title- ‘My eternal favourite’.
Alia shares a close bond with her husband-actor Ranbir Kapoor’s cousin sister and actress Kareena Kapoor Khan. Taking to her Insta story, Alia posted an unseen black and white picture from her Mehendi ceremony with Ranbir Kapoor. The Brahmastra actress captioned the photo, “happy birthday my eternal favourite superstar @kareenakapoorkhan.”

In the picture, both Alia and Kareena seemed to flaunt their beautiful smiles as they posed together. At Alia’s Mehendi ceremony, Kareena was seen donning a pink shimmery lehenga while the Student Of The Year actress looked gorgeous in a pink Manish Malhotra outfit.

Meanwhile, Alia and Kareena shared the screen space in the movie Udta Punjab. The 2016 movie also starred Shahid Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh in the lead.

Alia is currently basking in the success of her recently released movie, Brahamastra, which was released on September 9, 2022, in five languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film also starred Ranbir Kapoor in the lead. The movie became a tremendous hit within a few days of its release. Apart from Brahmastra, the actress has Jee Le Zaraa with Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra. Alia also has Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, and Dharmendra. She will also be making her Hollywood debut with the film, Heart Of Stone.
