Alia Bhatt is gearing up for the release of her movie ‘Jigra’ and has been busy with its promotions. She will share screen space with the new actor Vedang Raina, who made his dream acting debut with ‘The Archies’. ‘Jigra’ is Vedang’s second acting project and Alia is all praise for her co-star. While speaking to Dharma Production, Alia praised Vedang’s acting skills and called him ‘fabulous’ and ‘amazing’.

Praising Vedang, Alia said, “Vedang is fabulous. He is amazing; I don’t think he knows how amazing he is. I remember when we were doing an emotional scene, I told him, ‘you cry very prettily,’ which is a very nice thing for a Hindi film hero. He is very hardworking and instinctive. He’s got a lot of depth which will take him very far in his career.”

In the recently released 2-minute 49-second teaser trailer, fans got a glimpse of the powerful bond between the siblings. Vedang’s character plays a crucial role in the intense narrative, and his performance has already caught the attention of viewers.

In an earlier interview with The Hindu, Alia talked about her experience of working in ‘Jigra’. She said, “Jigra is an action film centred on a brother-sister relationship. Vasan is a gem of a human being, and one of the coolest nostalgic energies that I have met. He celebrates nostalgia in his movies but he’s got a new, fun take to it. He’s extremely rooted and his values come from the kindest place. He loves the collaborative aspect of filmmaking and I had a blast working with him. We are really thrilled for Jigra to come out in October this year.”

The Maharashtra election may further push the Congress down as it has lost the election at a time when it needed a win most desperately. Though the Congress succeeded in pushing the BJP to a corner and stopping it at less than a majority on its own, it failed to make any headway further.
