Mahesh Bhatt’s son Rahul Bhatt, who is a renowned fitness trainer, talked about the comparison of half-ster Alia and real sister Pooja. He commented that Alia is ‘paani kam chai’ in front of Pooja and called the ‘Sadak’ star ‘true inheritor’ to take his father’s legacy ahead.
While speaking to Hindi Rush, Rahul acknowledged Alia’s talent and success and shared, “She has got talent. She has the universe with her. She understands PR. She has everything and when you have everything, the universe conspires to make it happen.”
He added, “In my opinion, she is not even half of what my real sister Pooja is, not in talent, not in looks, not in terms of being sexy. In front of my sister, she is ‘paani kam chai (not as good)’. This is my personal opinion. If you ask, amongst all our siblings, who is the most talented, the most moralistic, it is Pooja. Pooja is the true inheritor to take the legacy of my father ahead. I saw her in her stardom. She was the biggest sex symbol of the country at that time.”
“She is a mother now. She is very successful, and one can’t just pick up the phone and say ‘I am coming to meet you’. I never shared that with anybody. I like to maintain a certain protocol. She is a good mother, and she is taking care of my other stepsister, Shaheen Bhatt, very well, which I respect more,” he further said.
For the unversed, Rahul is Mahesh Bhatt’s only son from his previous marriage to Kiran Bhatt. Pooja is also Mahesh and Kiran’s daughter. The filmmaker then married Soni Razdan and had two daughter- Alia and Shaheen Bhatt.
Rahul is a popular fitness instructor and has worked with several Bollywood actors including Aamir Khan in Dangal and Kartik Aaryan in Chandu Champion. He also participated in Bigg Boss Season 4. He was also seen in Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding along with other family members. Meanwhile, Alia and Pooja also share a close bond with each other.
