Akshay Kumar is back with another interesting story, which is filled with drama, action and more. Titled Sky Force, the movie stars Akshay in the lead role, alongside Sara Ali Khan, Nimrat Kaur. To ensure it gets the right kind of spotlight, the makers have been promoting it aggressively, and are set to release the first song from ‘Maaye’ today.
Teasing the same, Jio Studios released a short clip on Wednesday, which opened with the text ‘Feel the roar of patriotism.’ Alongside, the caption read, “Maaye – An ode to the bravehearts who gave it all to defend their motherland. Presenting #Maaye, The Anthem of Heroes, out tomorrow. SkyForce releasing in cinemas this Republic Week, on 24th January 2025.”
Lyricist Manoj Muntashir Reacts
The video credited musician Tanishk Bagchi and singer B Praak, but missed out lyricist Manoj Muntashir’s name, which left him disappointed. The writer shared the tweet and threatened the makers to correct the mistake, or else they will have to deal with legal repurcussions. “Please note @jiostudios, @MaddockFilms @saregamaglobal This song is not just sung and composed but also written by someone who has given all his blood and sweat to it.”
He continued, “Removing writers name from the opening credits shows utter disrespect for the craft and fraternity by the makers.” The writer threatened, “If it’s not corrected immediately, including the main song releasing tomorrow, I am going to disown the song and make sure my voice is heard by the law of the land. Shame. @IPRSmusic.”
Please note @jiostudios , @MaddockFilms @saregamaglobal , This song is not just sung and composed but also written by someone who has given all his blood and sweat to it.

People Come Out In Support
In the comment section of his sweet, people showered their love and offered support to the write. many also called out this system of not crediting lyricist for their hard work. One of them wrote, “Wherever the composer’s name is mentioned, the lyricist’s name should be mentioned because they both are ‘songwriters’. I’m sure the people responsible will rectify this in the next video/clip but why should a lyricist even have to ask for his credit?”
Another commented, “Writer is the first creator of any film or song. His name should be displayed with respect,” wrote another.
“Respecting the writer’s contribution is paramount. A song’s soul is shaped by the words that give it meaning and emotion. Disregarding Manoj bhaiya’s name in the credits is a grave injustice to his dedication and hard work,” read another comment.
