Maharashtra is ready for the election as the citizens have started casting their votes today. The polling started at 7 am on Wednesday and Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar was clicked outside the polling booth. The actor was later seen talking to the people outside the booth and discussing the issues with a senior citizen.
The actor was dressed in formal attire and looked dapper in a black full-sleeve shirt and a pair of grey trousers. He later talked with a senior citizen outside the booth after casting his vote.
Akshay also interacted with some reporters outside the voting booth and praised the arrangements made by the government. He said, “The best thing is the arrangements are really good. I saw that planning was done well for senior citizens. It’s clean too. Yahi hai ki sab log aaye, vote kare (Everyone should come and vote). That is the most important thing.”
Meanwhile, talking about the Maharashtra Election 2024, all 288 constituencies of the state will go to polls today in a high-stakes clash between the ruling Mahayuti alliance and the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA).
On the work front, Akshay Kumar was recently seen in the blockbuster film ‘Singham Again’ and impressed the fans with his short appearance. He will soon team up with Ajay Devgn for a new project and the announcement will be made soon. While speaking at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2024, Ajay Devgn announced a new movie with Akshay and said, “This is something we were going to announce later but I think this is a great platform. We are already working on something together where I am directing the film and he is in the film.”
He will next star in Priyadarshan’s film ‘Bhool Bangla’.
