Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan have reunited after 18 years for the exciting film ‘Haiwaan’. Directed by Priyadarshan, the movie will be a thriller and also a new collaboration between the filmmaker and Akshay. A video from the sets of ‘Haiwaan’ has been shared on social media in which Akshay, Saif and Priyadarshan are seen happily chatting.

According to reports, ‘Haiwaan’ will be the remake of the 2016 Malayalam film ‘Oppam’, starring Mohanlal. As per a report by Bollywood Hungama, Akshay Kumar will take on the villain’s role, and Saif Ali is reportedly playing the lead. The source revealed, “The film is essentially a high-stakes battle between Akshay and Saif, and they’re going to go all out against each other. It’s going to be a gripping and intense watch.”
An insider also told Hindustan Times that both actors were thrilled after reading the script. “Akshay and Saif have always enjoyed working with each other and admired each other’s work. The moment they read the script, they knew they were on board,” the source revealed.

In ‘Oppam’, Mohanlal played a bling man. The movie focused on a retired judge, who faces difficulty keeping his daughter safe from a convict he imprisoned. Later, when he gets murdered, a man with visual impairment who was loyal to him tries to defend his daughter.
