According to the reports of Sacnilk, Nandamuri’s film minted Rs 15 crore in India net on day three (Sunday). The film earned Rs 61 crore in just three days. Akhanda 2: Thaandavam was initially opened with a paid review on Thursday, and the film did an impressive job on Friday. Despite a slight dip in the earnings on Saturday, the film did a decent job of bouncing back on Sunday. Apart from box office numbers, Akhanda 2: Thaandavam is getting decent reviews with a positive word of mouth, which has directly shown an impact on box office collection.

Talking about occupancy, 14 December 2025, Akhanda 2: Thaandavam had an occupancy of 51.77 per cent in Telugu 2D. The audience preferred the evening shows over the morning shows, bringing the numbers to 70 per cent occupancy. Talking about Akshanda 2 3D screening, the numbers were slightly on the downside, bringing the occupancy to 35.52 per cent.
Dhurandhar’s domination at box office
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar stars Ranveer Singh, Sara Arjun, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, and Rakesh Bedi in pivotal roles. Talking about the box office numbers, Dhurandhar created history to become the fastest film to reach the Rs 300 crore club. The spy-action thriller earned a whopping Rs 350 crore in just nine days, beating Saiyaara, War 2, and Chhaava.
