Nandamuri Balakrishna is back on the big screens with his film ‘Akhanda 2’, a sequel to the 2021 fantasy action ‘Akhanda’. The movie is set after the events of the first film and explores the connection between children’s innocence, the natural world, and spiritual faith as communities strive for progress.
Akhanda 2 has opened to a strong start at the box office, driven by the success of the first film. Here’s a look at its box office collection.
Akhanda 2 box office collection day 2:
The film earned Rs 8 crore from pre release on Thursday and followed it up with an impressive Rs 22.5 crore on Friday. However, collections dropped to Rs 15.50 crore on Saturday. Even with this decline, the film’s India net total stands at Rs 46 crore.
The film has had a slow run at the box office, mainly because Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar is dominating theatres. It is also available in Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada.
