Ajay Devgn is currently basking in the success of his movie ‘Singham Again’ and fans are eagerly waiting to see him in a new project. He has now officially announced the second part of ‘Raid’ along with its release date. Vaani Kapoor will join Ajay Devgn in ‘Raid 2’ along with Rajat Kapoor.
Announcing the film, Ajay Devgn wrote, “IRS Amay Patnaik’s next mission begins from May 2025! Raid 2 is all set to release on 1st May 2025!”
Raid 2 Release Date:
‘Raid 2’ will release in theatres on May 1, 2025.
The first part starred Ileana D’Cruz and Saurabh Shukla in pivotal roles. Set in the 1980s, ‘Raid’ was based on a real-life income-tax raid conducted by the officers of the Income Tax Department under the Indian Revenue Service office in the 1980s.
On the work front, Ajay Devgn will next star in ‘Azaad’ with Aaman Devgn and Rasha Thadani. The movie will release on January 17, 2025.
He will also be seen in ‘De De Pyaar De 2’ with Rakul Preet. Ajay will also return as a director and will work with Akshay Kumar. While speaking at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2024, he announced a new movie and said, “This is something we were going to announce later but I think this is a great platform. We are already working on something together where I am directing the film and he is in the film.”

The duo did not mention the details of the film as they felt it was too early for that.
The two recently worked in ‘Singham Again’ with Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.
Ajay Devgn has also started shooting for ‘Son Of Sardaar 2’ with Mrunal Thakur.
