Aaradhya Bachchan Petition: A petition has been filed in the Delhi High Court against fake news on behalf of the Bachchan family. Justice C Harishankar's bench is hearing the petition in the Delhi High Court today. The Bachchan family has complained about the fake news shown on a YouTube channel regarding Aaradhya's health. In the petition filed by the family, a ban on such fake reporting has also been demanded. In the petition, it has been said that some YouTube channels and websites had posted news about Aaradhya's health which turned out to be fake. It is being said that the Bachchan family has complained against 2 YouTube channels and 1 website in this matter.

This decision came in November last year on the petition of Amitabh Bachchan

Last week of November last year, the Delhi High Court passed an interim order saying that Amitabh Bachchan's photo, voice, name or any of his attributes cannot be used without permission. During the hearing, Justice Chawla issued directions to the authority and the Department of Telecom to immediately remove the name, photo and personality traits of Amitabh Bachchan, which are publicly available without his permission.

Senior advocate Harish Salve had filed a petition in the court on behalf of Amitabh Bachchan. In the petition, it was said that some companies are using Amitabh Bachchan's name, voice and personality in the wrong way.  He had said that a lottery ad in my name is also running on social media platforms, in which his photo is also attached, and the logo of the program KBC hosted by him is also there, which is not true.  It was told through the lawyer that without his permission his name, voice and personality should not be used in any kind of advertisement. It is said that Amitabh is likely to suffer serious harm, and if the order is not passed, certain activities may also bring him into disrepute.
