Ranveer Allahbadia’s YouTube Hacked
Last week, famous YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia became a victim of hacking when two of his channels were compromised. Hackers deleted all the interview videos and podcasts, and replaced them with AI generated content of Donald Trump and Elon Musk.
However, through the help of YouTube’s team, Ranveer got back the access and all the deleted content was retored. Later, he took to his social media to announce the good news and thank fans for the support.
Ranveer also warned people about the cybercrimes and added, “I hope this is reminder for you all to focus much more on your cybersecurity needs. It’s something we have been very serious about, and then this happened. Cyber safety is a very serious topic. It’s the need of the hour. Educate yourself on this topic.”
During the difficult time, many thought that it was a PR stunt pulled off by his team. Ranveer also addressed those allegations in the video message. “I also want to tell you guys that this is not a marketing or a PR stunt. My work is my dharm. This is my faith. I would not mess around with the image of my work in such a way. One last reminder when you attach a divine purpose to your work, god will always take care of you,” he clarified.
