It is believed that this video is from the special screening of Mrunal’s film Son of Sardar 2, for which Dhanush had specially come to Mumbai from Chennai. Mrunal was then spotted at the wrap up party of Dhanush’s upcoming film Tere Ishq Mein. The two have been spotted together in public several times in recent times, which did not escape the eyes of fans. Neither actor has addressed the dating rumours so far.
Dhanush was previously married to Aishwarya, daughter of superstar Rajinikanth, with some reports suggesting it was a love marriage, while others claim it was an arranged union. The couple tied the knot in 2004 and were together for 18 years before announcing their separation in 2022. Their divorce was finalised in November 2024, and they co-parent two sons, Yatra and Linga.
On the work front, Dhanush is preparing for Tere Ishk Mein with Kriti Sanon, which is set to release on November 28. Mrunal’s latest film, Son of Sardaar 2, was released in theatres on August 1.
