Adivi Sesh has kept a mystery around his next film ‘G2’, the sequel to the 2018 blockbuster ‘Goodachari’, while creating enough buzz around the project. After much delay, the actor has finally provided a new update about ‘G2’ and introduced Wamiqa Gabbi and Emraan Hashmi to the audience.
The makers of ‘G2’ have decided to schedule the film’s release date for May 1, 2026. They unveiled new striking posters, featuring the main cast, and gave some insights into their characters.

Talking about ‘G2’, Adivi Sesh said in a statement, ”G2 has been a journey we’ve lived and breathed for years. With director Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi, we’ve dared to dream bigger, taking this story to a global scale while keeping its soul deeply personal. Emraan and Wamiqa will be seen in truly power-packed avatars, and their performances have taken the scale and intensity of this film a notch higher, making this more than just a film for us.”
Unveiling Wamiqa’s poster, Adivi wrote, “Shooting with @wamiqagabbi has been extraordinary. Phenomenal actress who can do phenomenal stunts. She’s the surprise bullet in the film.”
Meanwhile, the actor expressed his excitement about working with Emraan Hashmi and wrote, “From dancing on the man’s songs to starring AGAINST the big man! Love you @therealemraan sir!
The movie also stars Murali Sharma, Supriya Yarlagadda, and Madhu Shalini. Together, they promise a cinematic experience packed with action, intrigue, and edge-of-the-seat drama. ‘G2’ has been shot in six countries with 23 sets and was filmed for 150 days. It will be released in five languages.
