Mrunal Thakur has established herself as a successful actress across different film industries and has continued to impress the audience with her performances. She will next star in the Telugu film ‘Dacoit’, opposite Adivi Sesh, and recently celebrated her birthday on set with the team. Adivi unveiled her new look from the film and also penned a heartfelt note for her on Instagram.

‘Dacoit’ also stars Prakash Raj. It will release in theatres on December 25, 2025. Earlier, Shruti Haasan was roped in as the female lead but she opted out of the project due to unknown reason. Mrunal replaced her as the female lead.
On the work front, Mrunal will be seen in ‘Son Of Sardaar 2’ with Ajay Devgn. The movie will hit the theatres on August 1, 2025. Ravi Kishan and Sanjay Mishra will be seen in pivotal roles. ‘Son Of Sardaar 2’ also features the late actor Mukul Dev, who passed away on May 23, 2025, a few months before the release of his movie.
The first part of ‘Son Of Sardaar 2’ was released in 2012 and also starred Sonakshi Sinha, Juhi Chawla and Sanjay Dutt.
