‘Actor, Singer, Vistara Intern’: Aneet Padda’s Old LinkedIn Profile Goes Viral

Following the success of Saiyaara, Aneet Padda’s old LinkedIn profile has resurfaced showing her academic background and winning over fans with her authenticity.

The phenomenal success of Saiyaara has put director Mohit Suri back in the spotlight, but he is not the only one shining light. The film’s new faces Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda are also basking in the spotlight Aneet, who was virtually unknown earlier, is now gaining recognition across the country for her talent and journey and for all the right reasons.

While Ahaan, with his industry connections, was already a known face, Aneet came into Saiyaara as a near unknown. But ever since the film’s release, her performance in the romantic drama have generated public curiosity leading to fans digging into her background and, most recently, her old LinkedIn profile.

Created during her time as a Political Science student at Delhi University’s Jesus and Mary College, the page offers a glimpse into her life before stardom.

Aneet calls herself an “actor, singer-songwriter, and former Vistara intern” in her bio. She talks about her interest in politics and human resources, and says acting has helped her understand people better.

One Reddit user, sharing a screenshot of her profile with the caption ‘Beauty with brain’. In the comments section, most people praised Aneet’s simplicity. “It feels so refreshing to see someone normal is getting into Bollywood. She looks like one of us, and I’m all here for it,” read one comment. Another added, “She feels like one of us.”

One informed fan remarked, “She was topper in her high school Spring Dale 2021 X and XII board exams.” Many others pointed out that many other ‘outsiders’ in Bollywood, including Shah Rukh Khan, Sushant Singh Rajput, and Rakul Preet Singh were all academically inclined before their film careers. One concerned fan wrote, “May god protect her from this evil industry.”

Aneet Padda’s Career

While she’s winning hearts as the lead opposite Ahaan Panday in Saiyaara this isn’t her first time in front of the camera. She first got noticed through a bunch of popular TV ads that aired around 2022. Now, as fans look back at her journey, those old ads are popping up again online. She featured in commercials for well known brands like Dairy Milk Silk, Paytm, and Nescafe.

Aneet first appeared on screen as a background actor in the 2022 film Salaam Venky, starring Kajol. Her big break came in 2024 with the Amazon Prime Video teen drama Big Girls Don’t Cry, where she acted alongside seasoned stars like Pooja Bhatt, Raima Sen, and Zoya Hussain.

Apart from acting, Aneet is also passionate about singing. She released her first song, Masoom, in 2024. That same year, she appeared in a supporting role in the TV show Yuva: Sapno Ka Safar, where she was credited as Aneet Kaur.
