New Delhi: Actor and self-declared film critic Kamal R Khan aka KRK was arrested by Malad Police on Tuesday. He has been arrested for his two-year-old controversial tweet. He was held after he landed in Mumbai this morning. He will be presented before Borivali Court today, according to the Police.

Although it was not immediately clear for which tweet the actor was detained, a FIR was filed against him for making disparaging comments on social media in 2020 about the late actors Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor. Rahul Kanal, a member of the Yuva Sena core committee, filed the FIR after becoming aware of the actor’s offensive tweets.
