Pakistani actor Fawad Khan known for his appearance in Kapoor & Sons is finally coming back in a romantic comedy film. Abir Gulaal, features him along with actress Vaani Kapoor. The recently released teaser has sent fans into frenzy, with many excited to see Fawad Khan back on silver screens.
On Tuesday, Vaani Kapoor shared the teaser of Abir Gulaal on Instagram. It shows Fawad is seen singing Kuch Naa Kaho from 1942: A Love Story while sitting in a car with Vaani and enjoying the rain. On this she playfully asked, “Are you flirting with me?” to which Fawad responds, “Do you want me to?” The teaser ends with the line, “Bringing love back.”
Fans Celebrate Fawad’s Return
As mentioned above, the teaser has sparked immense excitement with fans thrilled to see Fawad back in Bollywood. One user commented, “The world is healing. This era is finally back?!” Another wrote, “Earth is healing, Fawad is back in India.”
Abir Gulaal is directed by Aarti S. Bagdi and produced by Indian Stories and A Richer Lens. This film will mark Fawad’s return to Hindi cinema after nearly a decade. The film is set to hit theaters on 9th May 2024.
