Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor are one of the most loved on-screen couple in Bollywood. They won the audience’s hearts after their pairing in Aashiqui 2 and Ok Jaanu. As per the latest buzz, Aditya and Shraddha will reunite again for another project but nothing has been confirmed yet.
According to Pinkvilla, filmmaker Mohit Suri has approached both Shraddha and Aditya for the movie, which is likely to be a love story. A source was quoted as saying by Pinkvilla, “He has discussed the basic idea with the duo, and will now proceed towards developing the script further. It’s in the nascent stage, and there will be a clarity on reunion by the end of this year.”
On the work front, Shraddha Kapoor was last seen in Stree 2. The movie became a blockbuster and will return with its third part. talking about ‘Stree 3’, Shraddha said at an event, “When Amar sir told me he had a story for Stree 3, I got very excited because I know it’s going to be something amazing. I can’t wait to hear what it’s about.”

She also talked about her first reaction after hearing the script of ‘Stree’ in 2018. The actress shared, “When I heard the first part, I felt I hadn’t come across a script like that before. It was based on an urban legend and I literally fell off the sofa while listening to it. I was so glad that they came to me. It was pure entertainment – I laughed at the dialogues and the scenes, and I loved playing this mysterious girl who comes and goes.”
Reflecting on the success of ‘Stree 2’, she added, “The kind of love and accolades the first part received were immense. It all started there. Hats off to the director, writer and producer for cracking a sequel. It’s important not to make a sequel just for the sake of it – you need substance to bring people to theatres and earn genuine appreciation. They stayed true to how a sequel should be made and cracked the story of Stree 2. It had all the entertainment factors, brilliant actors and really entertaining dialogues. I believe it was a fabulous team effort. It was pure cinematic joy.”
Apart from Shraddha Kapoor, the movie also stars Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurrana and Pankaj Tripathi. Varun Dhawan and Tamannaah Bhatia were also seen in the cameo roles.
Aditya will next star in Metro In Dino with Sara Ali Khan. He was last seen in the series The Night Manager Part 2.
