Prateik’s Reason For The Name Change

In an interview with The Times of India, Prateik shared his reason for changing his surname. He said, “I don’t care about the repercussions. I just want to feel connected to my mother, her name, and her legacy. I am striving to be like my mother, not my father.”

Aarya Babbar’s Calm Response

Now, Aarya Babbar, his step-brother broke silence on this move of him. He said, “Smita ma is our mother too. What name he chooses is his choice.” He added cheekily, “Kal ko main uthke apna naam Aarya Babbar se Aarya kar lun, ya Rajesh kar lun. Main tab bhi Babbar hi rahunga na? (Tomorrow if I wake up and change my name from Aarya Babbar to just Aarya or Rajesh, I’ll still remain a Babbar, right?)”
