Aamir Khan’s brother Faissal earlier made it to the headlines after he made some explosive claims against his family. He alleged that his family mistreated him and locked him up in his home for over a year. Aamir Khan and other members of the family were quick to dismiss these allegations and shared that Faissal misrepresented these events. In a new statement to Bollywood Bubble, Faissal has revealed that he has cut all ties with his family.
Faissal stated, “I, Faissal Khan, have from the date here of severed al I ties, familial, as well as, in estate, with my family members, the names whereof are more panicularly described in the Schedule hereunder written. All persons are required to take note that on and from the date hereof I shall not be known as forming part of the family of my late father Tahir Husain or my mother Zeenat Tahir Husain, and/or any other family member more panicularly described in the Schedule hereunder written, and I shall not be entitled to any rights arising out of the estate of either of them or liable for any liability arising out of the estate of either of them.”
He further talked about some ‘unfortunate past events’ in his statement and made some more shocking accusations. He wrote, “During the period 2005 to 2007, I was subjected to unwanted forced medication. During the period 2005 to 2006, I was confined to home akin to house-arrest against my wishes by some family members for their personal interests. In October, 2007, when I was being forced to give up my signatory rights by my family members, I left home, w h e re upon my mother Zeenat Tahir Hussain and my elder sister Nikhat Hegde made false allegations against me that I was suffering from paranoid Schizophrenia, and that I was a danger to the society at large.”
“My family members have now, once again, conspired against me and defamed me by publishing false statements in print and social media in the month of August 2025 that I was misleading and misrepresenting the facts, when on the contrary, my family members have been responsible for jeopardising my career and creating havoc in my personal and professional Life since the Year 2005,” Faissal concluded.
Aamir Khan and other family members are yet to react to Faissal’s new statement. They earlier issued an official statement to the media, expressing how hurt they are by Faissal’s allegations.
