Aamir Khan Visits Rashtrapati Bhavan, Meets President Droupadi Murmu Amid Sitaare Zameen Par’s Success

Aamir Khan has made a triumphant return to the big screen with Sitaare Zameen Par. The actor was invited by India’s President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The meeting comes as the film continues its strong run at the box office, having joined the coveted Rs 100 crore club, marking Aamir’s successful comeback after a three year hiatus.

The official X (formerly Twitter) handle of the President of India shared a photo of the meeting, with the caption, “Acclaimed filmmaker and actor Shri Aamir Khan called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan.”

The film focuses on specially abled children and features Aamir as a basketball coach. It is a remake of the Spanish film Campeones. Directed by RS Prasanna, the movie has been receiving an amazing response from the audience.

Apart from Aamir Khan, Sitaare Zameen Par also stars Genelia D’souza in the lead role. Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishnan Varma, Vedant Sharmaa, Naman Misra, Rishi Shahani, Ashish Pendse, Samvit Desai, Simran Mangeshkar, Aayush Bhansali, Dolly Ahluwalia, Gurpal Singh, Brijendra Kala, Zeenat Hussain and Nikhat Khan will be seen in pivotal roles.
