Aadar Jain recently got married to Alekha Advani. Their marriage has been the controversial since start as Aadar Jain was being in relationship with actress Tara Sutaria for long time and then end-up marrying her best friend, Alekha. During the wedding festivities, Aadar Jain gave a very loving speech for his wife, which he gave a statement, in which he referred to spending ‘4 years of timepass’ in his life and this led to widespread trolling. Many netizens speculated that this remark was directed at his ex-girlfriend, Tara Sutaria.
Now, during an interview with Etimes, Aadar Jain finally opens up and clarified what he actually meant by the comment.
During the interview, Aadar clarified that he never mentioned ‘4 years,’ as many assumed. He said that, “You should play the video. I’ve said 20 years”.
The actor expressed frustration with how quickly narratives can be formed online, especially when facts are not properly checked. “The internet creates so many false assumptions and people start believing things without understanding the full picture,” he added.
The Impact On His Family & Alekha
Aadar further explained how the viral comment had affected not just him but also his family and Alekha. He spoke about the unnecessary attention and criticism that had been directed towards them, stressing that none of it was true.
He said, “Out of respect, everyone has been silent about it, but people take liberty to say whatever they want. It’s unfair for her (pointing to Alekha), her family, mine, and even Tara’s family. There’s no truth behind any of it. Alekha is one of my oldest friends, and we have deep respect for each other.”
Aadar also highlighted that he has the utmost respect for both his past relationships and his present marriage. “My parents always taught me to respect my past, my present, and now my future,” he said.
He clarified that his comments were never intended to be disrespectful to anyone, including Tara.
“I would never think of anyone else when I’m getting married. It’s unfortunate what happened, but there’s no truth behind it,” Aadar remarked. He also added: “People will write things about me, and that’s fine. But if they start writing about my wife, my family, or my values, that’s when it becomes an issue’.
Concluding the conversation, Aadar made it clear that this would be the first and last time he would address the controversy. “I’m putting this to rest now,” he said.
