The 71st National Film Awards ceremony took place today at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi, celebrating the best of Indian cinema in 2023. Bollywood and South Indian stars, including Shah Rukh Khan, Vikrant Massey, Rani Mukerji, and Mohanlal, were among the big names honoured for their outstanding performances and contributions.
Shah Rukh Khan made headlines by winning his first-ever National Award for Best Actor for his role in Jawan, while Rani Mukerji secured her inaugural Best Actress Award for Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway. Legendary actor Mohanlal was honoured with the esteemed Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
