New Delhi: Filmfare Awards South is one of the most prestigious awards. It is given to both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the South Indian film Industry. These awards are the South Indian segment of the annual Filmfare Awards.
The first Filmfare Awards South was held in Chennai in 1972. Thereafter, the event was again held in Mumbai in the year 1973 and 1974.

According to the information shared by the official Twitter account of Filmfare, the ceremony will be held on October 9, 2022. Although there is no mention of the time as in when the event will start.

Filmfare Awards South 2022 Venue
The 67th Filmfare Awards South will be held at the Bangalore International Exhibition centre, Nice Junction, Tumkur Road, Bangalore. It is the first time that the award function is being held in Bangalore.
Meanwhile, there is no announcement regarding the host, guest list, and performances for the award night. But we can surely expect the presence of many dignified names from the South film industry.
