The much-awaited Indian Panorama, the flagship of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), recently announced the line-up for its 55th edition. According to a press release by the Press Information Bureau, a total of 25 feature films and 20 non-feature films will testify to the grandeur and diversity of modern Indian cinema.
The feature film jury was headed by Dr. Chandra Prakash Dwivedi, renowned film director, actor, and screenwriter, and twelve other jury members of highly acclaimed films across the Indian film industry.
Feature Films
From 384 contemporary Indian feature films, the jury selected a package of 25 films, among which five belong to mainstream cinema. The opening film of the Indian Panorama 2024 will be “Swatantrya Veer Savarkar,” directed by Randeep Hooda in this category.

In the non-feature section, 20 films were shortlisted from the impressive 262 entries. This category showcases films by both emerging as well as veteran filmmakers. The opening film in this category is “Ghar Jaisa Kuch” (Ladakhi), by Harsh Sangani.
The Non-Feature Film Jury was headed by Shri. Subbiah Nallamuthu, acclaimed Documentary and Wildlife Film Director and V. Shantram Lifetime Achievement Award Winner, and other six members.

About Indian Panorama and IFFI
Introduced in 1978 as part of the IFFI initiative, the Indian Panorama aims to promote Indian films along with the rich cultural heritage of the land through cinematic art. The selected films are also screened for non-profit screening at international film festivals all over India and abroad.
The 55th IFFI is scheduled from 20th to 28th November 2024, in Panaji, Goa. The National Film Development Corporation, Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is hosting the event in collaboration with the State Government of Goa.
