In a shocking incident, a 19-year-old model Sukhpreet Kaur was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her rented room on Saturday in Surat, Gujarat. The young model was from Madhya Pradesh and had recently moved to Surat to pursue modeling.
She was residing in Sarathi Residency, Kumbharia village of Saroli area and was sharing the accommodation with three other girls. According to police reports, she was alone at the time of the incident as her roommates had gone out. The incident was reported when one of her roommates returned home and found Sukhpreet's body.

According to reports, her body was discovered hanging from a ceiling fan where primary investigations suggests suicide but as no suicide note was recovered from the scene police are exploring all other angles. Authorities have seized her mobile phone and reviewing her call logs, social media interactions, and personal background. The authorities are also questioning her roommates to know if she was under any pressure or involved in any disputes.
The model's family has also been informed of her death and they are expected to arrive in Surat soon.
