Farhan Akhtar changed how Bollywood made movies based on wars with ‘Lakshya’, which resonated with the youngsters at that time. The actor-filmmaker is all set to bring another war-drama film titled ‘120 Bahadur’, based on a true story during the 1962 India-China war. He will be seen as Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, a recipient of India’s highest military honour, ‘Param Vir Chakra’.

The teaser offers an intense glimpse of the India-China War in 1962 and the tensions between the two countries. The Indian soldiers are shown preparing for the war amid the cold temperature of -24 degrees, and Farhan’s role as Major Shaitan Singh Bhati is introduced. The dialogue, like ‘this uniform demands not just courage but also sacrifice’, perfectly portrays the bravery of the Indian soldiers. Not much has been revealed about the plot of ‘120 Bahadur’ in the teaser, but it is enough to capture the viewers’ attention.
The viewers definitely seem impressed with the teaser of ‘120 Bahadur’ as they praised the makers for bringing this incredible story. One YouTube user wrote, “Thank you, Farhan Akhtar, for bringing to the screen the untold valour of the 1962 Indo-China war. Your tribute to Param Vir Chakra awardee Major Shaitan Singh Bhati and the 120 brave jawans of the 13 Kumaon Regiment is not just cinematic excellence—it’s a profound act of remembrance.”
Another person commented, “At last, someone dared to bring such real life story in front of the whole world. A big salute to Farahan Akhtar.”
Apart from Farhan Akhtar, the movie also stars Sparh Walia, Ajinkya Ramesh Deo, Eijaz Khan and Vivan Bhathena in the key roles. Raashii Khanna will be seen in a cameo role.
