IIM Kozhikode officially released the results of the CAT 2025 examination on 24 December 2025. This year, the competition was as fierce as ever, with a total of 12 candidates securing a perfect 100 percentile. Many others came close, scoring 99.99 percentiles, reflecting the high level of preparation and talent among aspirants.
CAT, the Common Admission Test, is a crucial exam for candidates seeking admission to India’s top business schools, including IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, and IIM Calcutta. The exam tests students on their abilities in Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability (QA).
Who Is Vinayak Agarwal?
Among the top performers this year is Vinayak Agarwal, who achieved a staggering 99.99 percentile in CAT 2025. Vinayak comes from a Mathematics background and has consistently demonstrated exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. His overall marks in the examination were 136.88, and he performed extraordinarily well in all three sections. He scored 99.47 percentile in VARC, 99.97 percentile in DILR, and 99.99 percentile in Quantitative Ability.
Vinayak is one of 26 candidates who scored 99.99 percentile this year. Out of the 12 candidates who scored a perfect 100 percentile, two were female, while ten were male. Additionally, 26 students achieved 99.98 percentile, showing the highly competitive nature of CAT 2025.

12 Candidates Achieved Perfect 100 Percentile
The 12 candidates who achieved a perfect 100 percentile come from diverse educational backgrounds and regions. Three of them studied engineering, while the remaining nine are from non-engineering streams. These top scorers represent eight different states across India, with Delhi contributing the highest number of candidates. This mix of students highlights the diversity and talent pool competing in CAT every year.
