WBJEE 2025 Result Declared: After delay of several weeks due to court directives, the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2025 results have finally been declared on Friday, August 22. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has declared the results and candidates can now access their rank cards. Along with rank cards, the final answer key is also available on the official websites: wbjeeb.nic.in and wbjeeb.in.

About WBJEE

WBJEE is an annual state-level entrance exam that facilitates admissions to undergraduate engineering, pharmacy, and architecture courses in West Bengal. After passing the exam, candidates can take next step which includes counselling and admission process. The WBJEE exam was held on April 27 this year.

The result was initially scheduled to be released in early August; however, it was delayed due to court directives regarding OBC reservation in the merit list. The Calcutta High Court directed the board to issue a revised merit list of examinees, noting that the previously published list did not comply the court’s order regarding OBC reservation.

  2. Click on the WBJEE 2025 Rank Card link on the homepage.
  3. Enter your login details (application number and password/date of birth).
  4. Click Submit to view your rank card.
  5. Download and print the rank card for future use.

CM Mamata Banerjee Congratulates Students

Meanwhile, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee congratulated the students who have cleared the examination successfully. She wrote on X, “I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all the students who have passed the State Joint Entrance Examination. I also extend my congratulations to your parents and teachers. To those who, for some reason, could not achieve good results, I urge you not to lose heart but to prepare for better outcomes in the future.”

She added, “Due to legal complications, the announcement of results was delayed a bit this time compared to previous years. However, I have faith that, overcoming all adversities, you will achieve greater success in the days to come and make Bengal proud.”
