WBJEE 2023: The WBJEE 2023 tests will be administered on April 30, 2023, by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). On the official website — wejeeb.nic.in — applications for the WBJEE will be made available online.
The final week of December will be the registration period for candidates who meet the basic requirements for the tests.
WBJEE 2023: Schedule
The proposed timetable for the WBJEE 2023 tests, which was announced by the WBJEEB, is subject to change. “The test will he held once in a year and there shall be no further examination under any circumstances for those who are unable to appear on the date and time mentioned above,” read the official information brochure.

WBJEE 2023: papers and ranks
In the WBJEE 2023, candidates who appear in both papers 1 and 2 are eligible for both the general merit rank (GMR) and the pharmacy merit rank (PMR). All courses will consider these applicants for admission. As for candidates, they will only be eligible for PMR if they appear in paper 2 (except Jadavpur University). Such applicants are only taken into consideration for admission to the pharmacy programme. Candidates who only appear in paper 1 are not eligible for any rank, nevertheless. Guidelines
- You must fill out and apply online. No printed applications will be made available.
- Application for the exams in duplicate will not be permitted.
- The application cannot be changed or altered once the registration details, such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, gender, and date of birth, are input.
- If any of the aforementioned information, or any other information, has to be rectified, WBJEEB shall declare a “correction period” during which candidates may make the necessary modifications.
- The only ways to pay for the exam will be online through net banking, a credit card, a debit card, or UPI. For the exams, the application cost is Rs 500 for general candidates and Rs 499 for SC, ST, OBC-A, and OBC-B applicants. This payment is not transferable.
- Candidates have been warned by the WBJEEB that simply showing up for the exam and scoring well does not ensure admission. Allotment and admission requirements will be based on the regulations in effect at the time of counselling.
Paper pattern
The exam will only contain multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each of which has four possible answers. Each subject will have three different sorts of questions.
