ISRO and educational journey

Step 1: To enter ISRO, it is essential that students choose three subjects in grade 12, ie. Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. They must have a deep understanding of the mathematical and physical principles they have been taught.

Step 2: Upon completion of Grade 12 with an excellent CGPA score or a percentage greater than 75 percent, students must enroll in one of the many engineering disciplines available through the JEE Advanced and Core JEE Exams.

Students must choose B.Tech. or B.E courses. in computer science, mechanical engineering, radio engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, engineering physics and other related subjects.

It should be noted that the Indian Space Agency likes to hire fresh graduates from top Indian engineering institutions like IISc, IIT, NIT, IIST and other well known private engineering institutions. The candidate’s academic record will have an added advantage in getting a job at ISRO.

Step 3:  Upon completion of the study, the candidate will be required to sit for the ISRO Concentration Board Exam. To appear for the test, candidates must score a minimum of 65 percentage points or a 6.8 point average on a ten-point scale.

After passing the exam, the shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for an interview and the shortlisted candidates will eventually be called for an interview.

Step 4:  Another option to become a scientist at ISRO is to choose Master’s courses such as M.Sc., ME or MTech and PhD in related disciplines. Top performing courses include Geophysics, Geoinformatics, Instrumentation, Applied Mathematics, and more.

Step 5: At the end of the graduate program, applicants must apply directly to ISRO, the selection process will include a written test and an interview. Candidates can only get a job as a scientist at ISRO after completing the recruitment process.

Step 6: Interested candidates can also apply for the position of Young Researcher at ISRO, which allows them to conduct research as scientists and engineers. The selection process is extremely difficult for candidates taking the scientist exam.

At such a company, hiring a scientist is a very difficult procedure, requiring the highest level of intelligence, wit, and a relaxed and well-mannered attitude.
